TRAVEL GUIDE

Things to do in Barcelona

In 2 days
1 week
As a family
At sunrise, head to Barcelona’s heights, to Tibidabo, to catch the funicular and enjoy a beautiful view of the streets of the capital of Catalonia. Take a trip to Güell Park, where architecture and nature have blended to form a unique setting. Then, stop at the Sagrada Familia, a landmark monument in Barcelona. There are many sites to visit, including Tour Abracsa by Jean Nouvel, the Forum Park and Caïxa Forum. If you want to go shopping, you must go to Las Ramblas, the "Champs Elysées" of Barcelona and La Boqueria, the big, popular market and then have dinner and return to the comfort of Campanile rooms.
If you're lucky enough to stay in Barcelona for a week at our Campanile hotels, you'll have time to explore the city's pleasures more fully. Be sure to push open the doors of Barcelona’s museums, including the National Museum of Art of Catalonia and the museums dedicated to Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró. The beachfront is also enjoyable. There are plenty of activities: water sports, bars, nightclubs. The nearby Barceloneta offers a guaranteed retreat. This fishermen’s spot with Mediterranean colors provides quick access to the city’s beaches.
In Barcelona, there are more than enough activities to entertain families. In the heart of downtown, Ciutadella Park is a relaxing setting and promises beautiful walks. The children will want to go to the zoo. The site is also home to museums, an arc de triomphe, a beautiful waterfall, a small lake and a children's garden. The city's Old Port is home to a very large aquarium. You’ll be charmed by its richness and modern features. There, 450 species of different animals await your visit. This aquarium also stands out in terms of the beauty of its subaquatic tunnel that can host about 100 tourists at a time.
