A unique visit to Fontenay-Trésigny

The town was a shooting location for the 1960 film Captain Fracasse, a French-Italian film by Pierre Gaspard-Huit and starring Jean Marais, Philippe Noiret and Geneviève Grad. The scenes portraying the Château de Sigognac in ruins were filmed at the Château du Vivier. In 2006, some scenes for the film Darling, starring Marina Foïs and Guillaume Canet and directed by Christine Carrière, were shot in the city. And let’s not forget the “Monanville” PMU ad.
